The air, humid and warm, was filled with the buzzing of insects, chatter and music. For the first time, the streets were no longer vacant after the long winter, safe for the ocassional passerby. No, they were full. People and their Pokemon were everywhere, townsfolk who had never spoken before with eachother bonding over the mere enjoyment of having one of those creatures as pals. In the crowd flowing throughout one of the alleys, off to one side, a bunch of kids rested, seated on boxes and against walls. Iulia, stroking the trunk of her Phanpy, sat cross-legged on an empty barrell, looking down upon her younger siblings. Triplets, two boys and one girl, they lounged in the same, casual manner, sometimes casting glances at Circus. They were still too young to get their own Pokemon, being only six years old. But that wasn't the reason they were there.
"Everyone have their fliers? The circus is performing their brand-new, Pokemon show, and we need people coming, alright!" the dark-skinned girl hopped down, gaining the attention of her siblings, who nodded vigurously, excited for their task."Okay then, go, go!" Iulia stamped her foot, and the triplets scattered away in one direction, brandishing stacks of colorful papers. Smiling as she watched them go, the girl, holding her own fliers, hurried in the other directon, running barefoot in the streets. In her rush, she managed knocking into somebody, her frail body tumbling to the ground and Circus, which she was still clutching, falling next to her with an indignated 'oof'.
"Oh, my bad...!" she pushed herself up, gathering the scattered fliers. Brushing a lock of ebony-black hair away from her face, Iulia extended one of the papers to the person she had bumped into. "I don't suppose you're interested." the small performer sighed, returning to the pesky task of retrieving her stuff.
