FIRST IMPRESSION
Too pretty and effeminate to actually be a guy, so on first glance, nobody would know he’s male and think of him as a mere child. Extremely lazy and unmotivated, his playful teasing and mischievous words contrast his overall composed demeanor.

Too perceptive for his own good, Callum has an extensive library of knowledge within his mind. He’s quick-witted and snarky, but even more than that, he’s able to make wildly accurate predictions. A strategist of his own kind, he uses a lot of unorthodox methods to go about when it comes to battles and is constantly several steps ahead of others. Don’t ever challenge him to a game of chess. You’ll get absolutely destroyed.

AURA GUARDIAN

As a human capable of using aura, Callum can read the minds and actions of others and sense his surroundings with relative ease. The projection of aura allows him to create barriers or attacks akin to Aura Sphere. As aura is similar to sound, it can be interrupted by airspace. He rarely uses his abilities, let alone in front of others.

SINGING

With an angelic voice soothing to listen to and great control over it, Callum’s singing is a feat of its own to behold, beyond his practically otherworldly beauty. He doesn’t sing in front of others, and anyone who asks him to sing, he’ll immediately claim he’s tone-deaf.

ACROBATICS

His lithe body allows him to easily move freely, with a lot of flips and speed, though Callum’s got low stamina otherwise. Much of his abilities are used to climb trees and roofs, just so he can take a nap.

Initially deciding to avoid the reservation due to the large crowd and his lack of desire to become a trainer, Callum had wandered around, constantly hearing the news and gossip about the amount of Pokemon seen nearby. It was the only thing that anyone was talking about, despite wanting to shut out any sort of talk about Pokemon. Allowing his curiosity to get the better of him, he decided to take a bit of a peek inside, only to catch the attention of a Plusle and Minun who refused to leave him alone. He left as quickly as he came, but the two electric rabbits continued to follow… Though he doesn’t have any Pokeballs for either of them (and he doubts his plans will change anytime soon), he’s chosen to tolerate their presence for the time-being.

Callum is completely open to interactions with any other character, and I’m completely fine with allowing any sort of planning or plots with him; he’s a rather flexible character when it comes to roleplaying! Currently, there are no plans for him to have a ship and any and all romantic possibilities will always be locked out for him, no matter what. I’d prefer for him to find friendships most of all, and maybe an enemy or two, but it’ll be a little hard to earn his trust and get him to call someone a friend! If you want any sort of development of him, please be wary of it being a slow burn through things because that’s simply the sort of character he is.

An elusive and mysterious boy who hides behind a constantly-smiling facade and aims to be as unreadable as possible. He will unabashedly lie, even about the most trivial of things. Outgoing and confident in his talents, he enjoys a good challenge and putting his skills to the test; easily bored, he needs to find sources of entertainment for him to keep any sort of attention on others. Though quick to make snarky remarks about others based solely on appearance, he’s able to read others like an open book with relative ease, regardless of how guarded the other person may be. Snide comments often slip out of his mouth since he doesn’t bother to restrain himself, but he takes offense when others think of him as a mere child or girl, asserting that he is a legitimate genius. His attempts to entertain himself do make him come off as a mischievous child or prankster however (though one could argue he’s being a massive troll instead).

Knowing his own weaknesses and limits well, Callum chooses to acknowledge their existence by blatantly ignoring them. His treatment of lifestyle is much like a game where he can have fun, and as a result, it means he can put things off for so long as he doesn’t want to advance to the next story event. He’s unmotivated and finds very little reason to put in his full effort towards anything, preferring to take naps constantly or procrastinate any work he may have until he’s forced to do it out of necessity. Speaking with a slow pace, he has a rather approachable nature… If others can notice him.

Suffering from an extremely weak presence, it’s not uncommon for others to accuse him of sneaking up on them when he was there the entire time. Modest and sociable as he may seem, he’s the sort to keep to himself and make sure that people don’t grow too attached to him. With the same happy smile plastered on his lips, he’ll coldly lie or threaten others and twist words to his bidding in order to manipulate situations to his liking. His theatrics and sometimes-dramatic nature give the impression that he desires attention and for other people to pay attention to him, to the point where he plays it off in a villainous matter. It’s debatable whether he goes out of his way to make sure people hate him and think of him in a negative light or not, but he would never hand out that sort of information.

All he knows is that he’s a tool for others to use as their property, and he would place his own well-being and life on the line to do so. After all, his conduct and masks must be practiced and trained to as close to perfection as he can manage to get it to.

Overly polite with an ethereal appearance that makes him seem as though he’s from a different world, his behavior is quick to cement that point with how spacey and downright odd he may be. His self-deprecation comes up almost immediately as casual remarks.

COLOR SYNESTHESIA

From the moment Yunnan hears someone speak for the first time, he’s able to associate a color with the person that is distinctively their own. With it, he’s able to remember the person’s color and it helps jog his memory a little better, though not by much.

TEA PREPARATION

He has a high level of skill in the preparation of tea through their ceremonies. Tea that he’s prepared seems to taste far better, even if the same pouch was used by a different person. Yunnan’s quite the tea connoisseur, all things considered.

NAVIGATING

Despite not remembering what each place is called, he has an extraordinary sense of direction and is able to recall directions with ease - including the exact distance and time he needs to get there.

A carrier working at Pelipper’s Delivery Service, Yunnan one day received a mysterious letter stating that he had been accepted into the group eligible to get their very first Pokemon right at the opening of the reservation. He wasn’t sure why it was addressed to him, but he pocketed it away into his bag to take a look at in better detail later on… Only to forget. While rummaging through his bag during deliveries, he stumbled upon the letter once more and, in a rare moment, recalled when he first received it. Though dubious as to why he had been summoned, he chose to walk by the reservation to take a look. In the end, he managed to find himself a new companion and partner in a Swablu that he nicknamed Altair. When had he sent in an application to receive a Pokemon in the first place…?

Yunnan is available to interact with other characters, and he can be involved in an assortment of plots and plans. He’s a bit of an airhead with very strange thinking that may make him awkward to talk to, but he’s very good at heart and just needs some time to warm up to others. Despite his appearance, Yunnan’s actually a bit of a player who ends up flirting with a lot of people (unknowingly), resulting in him having a number of people claiming that he’s their boyfriend when he doesn’t remember in the slightest agreeing to that. It’ll take him awhile to remember character’s names, but finding him is very easy, so long as he’s not wandering around for work - he loves his tea, so starting topics with him can usually be at a cafe! I’d like for him to have some drama at one point or another with his faulty memory and accusations of him being a cheater, but otherwise, his “end game” ship has already been set in stone with Rowan. Please be patient with this poor child.

Easily mistaken as a tired widower, Yunnan spends much of his time alone, thinking about the lives of of kindred spirits. He works and moves at his own pace but does his best to serve others however he can as a people-pleaser. Though he may come off as aloof and distant due to his impersonal mannerisms and extremely way of speaking, he tries to better himself when it comes to learning about others. Conversations rarely focus on him as a person - if at all - as he prefers to hear what others are up to. With a constantly placid smile, he’s extremely difficult to anger or upset, remaining altruistic to any person he can, in a sense of being a ‘friend to all.’

Head constantly in the clouds, people call him a sort of oddball with how absentminded he is. Yunnan is very slow in the uptake of information with an even slower reaction time, he ends up being rather clueless, especially with his memory taking things down even further. Due to his amnesia, he doesn’t remember his past at all nor who he actually is, and his memory continues to deteriorate and falter in the present day - he can’t recall people’s faces well nor can he remember their names as his impressions of everyone blends together, and so, he treats everyone practically the same. Whenever others ask about him, he immediately puts himself down, viewing others on a higher pedestal than he is and that he’s simply trash that’s too troublesome to be around; it unfortunately makes him a little easy to take advantage of due to his willingness to help out anyone that asks him to. Consequently, he attracts both negative and positive attention.

As self-loathing as he is, he loves the world and everyone else in it, acting as a kind-guiding figure however he can. Though he has a lot of experience in several matters, it can take awhile for him to use the knowledge properly and he lacks a proper understanding of how and why people feel the emotions that they do. Yunnan was born with an innate ability to perceive emotions, skipping the steps that others had to go through to learn what it meant to truly be empathetic. The result is his words sounding overly-rehearsed and the claim that he’s too much of a goody-two-shoes that he may as well be a serving computer program.

He cries easily when scared and tends to not realize that he may be saying something offensive or harmful to others. While he may act gently and kindly, Yunnan has a feeling that he’s not as good of a person as he tries to come off as.
