| Ronda was travelling near the reservation when she noticed someone walking down the same road she was. Immediately, she ran on over, clutching the Poké Ball of her recently-gained companion, Wukong the Chimchar. They had been together for a little bit now and she had determined that the best way for them to bond and earn each other's trust was to engage in battle with one of the other trainers.

| Joey's avid watching of her aloof little purple rat's feeding time was rather abruptly interrupted by some loud chick aggressively yelling at her for a fight. The Rattata only leveled a bland stare on the brunette before dismissively going back to her bowl of Pokémon food, but the young girl stood up, planting her hands on her hips and glaring at the taller girl with puffed out cheeks, "Can't you see we're busy here lady? Whiskers is hungry! Go bother someone else you nasty old broad. Jump in a lake or something, it might make you stink less." She huffed indignantly before sitting back down next to her Rattata. This lady wasn't ready to battle Whiskers anyways. Whiskers was in the top percent of Rattata! Joey could already tell that this rude, ugly fish-hag wasn't worth their time at all. | |
